Grants

The Council carries out its mission through education, advocacy and the funding of innovative projects that make a difference in the lives of NH citizens with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Grant funding is reserved for NH based programs, projects, and initiatives. Priority is given to individuals who have not previously applied for a grant from the Council. The Council is unable to cover DSP/support and travel costs.

  • The Council regularly collaborates on, and distributes small grants for projects, trainings, and conferences that address goals identified in the Five-Year State Plan.
  • The Council provides small grants to individuals and families impacted by disabilities, which support personal educational, leadership and employment goals.
  • The Council has the capacity to provide larger grants for “demonstration” projects or activities as described in the DD Act.

If you have questions about grant funding or applying for a grant, feel free to contact our office at 603-271-7038 or 603-271-7040.
